Cast Basalt is produced from quarrying raw volcanic Basalt rock. It Is broken up and melted at @l250deg C and resulting in liquid mass.This liquid mass together with certain additives is poured intothe moulds. A carefully controlled annealing process follows. Cast Basalt is ideally suitable for equipment handling solids in liquid suspension, all transfer chute and launders , hoppers and cyclone due to its extremely high resistance to sliding abrasion.
